Getting ready
Before your appointment
- Book as early as you can, especially for weekends and wedding season
- Bring photos of styles you love, and ones you don't
- Bring a photo or description of your outfit and neckline
- Bring any veil, headband or hair accessories
- Arrive with clean, dry hair, unless we've asked otherwise
Make it last
- Have any colour or treatments a couple of weeks before the day
- Wear a top that buttons or zips, so you don't pull it over your hair
- Ask us for a touch-up kit or tips for the day
- Keep hairspray and a few pins handy

How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, as soon as you have your date. Dates and weekends fill quickly. For proms and parties, a few weeks ahead is a good guide, and the earlier the better in busy seasons.
Do I need a trial?
We recommend one for weddings and for any style you haven't had before. It lets you see how the look works with your hair and outfit, so there are no surprises on the day.
Can you style a whole group?
Yes. Get in touch with the date and number of people, and we'll let you know what's possible and how long it will take.

How much does occasion hair cost?
The price depends on the style, the number of people and whether you'd like a trial. We'll give you a clear quote before anything is booked.
Will my style last all day?
Yes. We style for the length of your event, so it keeps its shape through photos, dancing and the evening.
What if I have short or fine hair?
We can create a style for most hair types and lengths. If you'd like extra length or volume, hair extensions can help. Message us a photo and we'll talk you through the options.
