Treatments

Healthier hair,
you can see and feel

Whether you have dull, dry, damaged or frizzy hair, our treatments can help restore its health and vitality and protect it from future damage.

Smoothing treatment

Hair after a smoothing treatment: smooth, defined and glossy Hair before a smoothing treatment: dry, frizzy and uneven Before After

Service provided

Wella SmoothFiller Smoothing Treatment is a demi-permanent, in-salon smoothing service designed to tame frizz and make your hair easier to style, whether it's straight, wavy or curly.

Frizz often comes from tiny gaps in the hair's surface. SmoothFiller carries a smoothing ingredient into the hair to fill those gaps and rebuild strength from within. The treatment is applied to clean, damp hair, left to develop, rinsed, then blow-dried and finished with straighteners to lock it in.

Results last up to three months, then fade gradually without a visible regrowth line. Repeat treatments build on each other. Unlike some keratin treatments, it won't drastically change your natural texture, so waves and curls keep their shape. It can also be followed by colour in the same appointment.

Benefits

  • Reduces frizz, even in humid weather
  • Leaves hair smoother, softer and easier to style
  • Makes everyday styling quicker
  • Keeps your natural texture, so waves and curls stay
  • No washing restrictions afterwards

Best for clients

  • With frizzy, unruly hair that never quite behaves
  • Whose hair takes a long time to style
  • With straight, wavy or curly hair
  • Who want smoother hair without losing their natural movement
  • Who want to add colour in the same appointment

Treatment time Approx. 2 to 2½ hours Estimate only, confirmed at your consultation.

Repair treatment

Hair after a repair treatment: soft, shiny and healthy-looking Hair before a repair treatment: dull and damaged Before After

Service provided

Colour and lightening can leave hair weak, dry and prone to breakage. We offer two repair treatments, so you can choose the one that suits your hair.

K18 Molecular Repair (with blow-dry) uses a salon-only pre-treatment mist and leave-in mask to strengthen and repair damaged hair from within.

Wella Fusion (Amino) Deep Repair (with blow-dry) is an intensive in-salon treatment which replenishes dry and/or damaged hair leaving it smoother, softer and more resilient to breakage.

Either treatment are provided as a standalone service or can be a great addition to a cut and/or colour/lightening appointment. Both treatments are quick to do so they won't add much time to your visit.

Benefits

  • Helps to repair damage and strengthen hair
  • Helps to protect hair from future damage
  • Helps keep colour looking vibrant for longer
  • Hair looks healthier, feels softer and smoother, and is more manageable

Best for clients

  • Whose hair has been damaged by colour, lightening or heat.
  • Who are having a colour, bleach or lightening service and want to protect their hair while it's being processed.
  • Who has dry, brittle or over-processed hair.
  • Who want smoother, stronger-feeling hair without a long appointment.

K18 or Wella Fusion: which should I choose?

Choose K18 if…

  • Your hair has already been damaged by colour or heat.

Choose Wella Fusion if…

  • Your hair feels very dry, rough or brittle, or tangles easily
  • You're booking a treatment on its own, rather than alongside a colour service
  • You want a deeper, more conditioning treatment and a noticeably smoother, softer finish

Treatment time Approx. 45 to 60 minutes (K18 or Wella Fusion) Estimate only, confirmed at your consultation.

Gloss and shine

Hair after a gloss treatment: rich, shiny colour Hair before a gloss treatment: faded, flat colour Before After

Service provided

Wella Shinefinity Zero Lift Glaze is a salon-only gloss that adds shine and a soft veil of tone without lightening your hair or changing your natural base.

The gel-cream glaze is brushed through the hair, left to develop for around 20 minutes, then rinsed and styled. It can refresh faded colour, tone away brassiness in blondes and add depth or dimension, and it works as a stand-alone treatment or as a finishing touch after a cut or colour appointment.

Wella formulates it without ammonia, silicones or drying alcohols, and it's designed to suit all hair types, including fine, dry, coloured and pre-lightened hair. Results can last up to around six weeks, fading gradually without a harsh regrowth line.

Benefits

  • Adds shine and a smooth, polished finish
  • Refreshes faded colour and evens out tone
  • Tones away brassy warmth in blondes
  • Gentle: it doesn't lighten the hair or use ammonia
  • Fades gradually, with no harsh regrowth line
  • Can be added to a cut or colour appointment

Best for clients

  • Whose colour has faded or lost its richness
  • With blonde hair that has turned brassy
  • With flat or dull-looking hair that needs shine
  • With fine, dry, coloured or pre-lightened hair who want a gentle option
  • Who want a refresh between colour appointments
  • Who want a subtle, natural-looking change of tone without a big commitment

Treatment time Approx. 45 minutes Estimate only, confirmed at your consultation.

Questions people ask

How do I know which treatment I need?

Try our "Which treatment is right for you?" tool above, or message us a photo of your hair. We'll check your hair at your appointment and recommend the best option.

How long do the results last?

It depends on the treatment and your hair. A smoothing treatment can last up to three months, then fades gradually. Gloss and repair treatments are refreshed between colour appointments, or as often as your hair needs. We'll tell you what to expect.

Will a treatment change my hair colour?

Not unless you want it to. A gloss can add a soft veil of tone or be completely clear, and doesn't lighten your hair or change your natural base. Repair and smoothing treatments don't change your colour.

Can I have a treatment if my hair is coloured or lightened?

Yes. Treatments are often most useful for coloured or lightened hair. If your hair has been lightened, a repair treatment may need to come first, and we'll check your hair before we recommend anything else.

Can I have a treatment on the same day as my colour?

Often, yes. A gloss is a popular finishing step after colour, and a repair treatment can be added to the same appointment. Tell us when you book, so we can allow enough time.

Will my hair feel different straight away?

Most clients notice softer, smoother, shinier hair after their first treatment. Repair treatments build up over time, so regular use gives the best results.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

No special preparation is needed. Tell us about any colour, treatments or products you've used recently, and we'll check your hair before we start.

How should I look after my hair afterwards?

Use shampoo and conditioner suited to your hair, and a heat protectant when styling. We'll give you advice for your treatment, including how long to wait before washing if needed.

How much do treatments cost?

The price depends on the treatment and the length and thickness of your hair. We'll give you a clear quote before anything is booked.
